I’ve been with Necropolis RP since October 2009 (officially atleast), i’ve been through my ups and downs with the place mostly due to just certain individuals who at the end of the day don’t make a bearing of how the community is run, that’s rather sad. It’s moreso my pigheaded behavior that gets me in hot water really, I have had time to think over what i’ve said and done as of late and i’ve been able to rediscover my roots pretty easily. I mean honestly I morphed into something that I have as of late become disgusted with.

I traded away the values that have been passed down to me for the friendship of a few whom I don’t even like. It’s a shame but honestly it’s how life is, best to make the best of my opportunity at Necropolis and help out with whatever the hell Locust & Sorin needs. I believe in what we’re doing, so it has to get done one way or another.

Should spend a little time explaining the usual drama that’s erupted at the place recently, it’s sort of mind boggling honestly. From what it seems the main party of players from Lot believed that admins conspired to OOCly destroy the faction but from what’s been disclosed so far it seems the orders only came after IC pestering the Union leader. Just gave the order and bam, the Lot was destroyed. Sucks for them but honestly it’s not something to stir a war of words over honestly.

Though I doubt I wouldn’t be pissed if someone just felt like bombing my faction aswell, but it didn’t happen to me so yeah. Guess now i’ll go watch some TV and accuse Sorin of being Welsh. aaauggh

Okay I know already people are gonna say I downloaded this illegally,I did. It’s not out in the United States due to it being translated and being bug tested most likely, but when it does come out I will delete this illegal copy and buy the game. Here’s something that flew under the radar for a majority of you, I bet. Your scopes for your weapons have multiple types. This variant allows you to mount a nightvision scope on your AN-94!

Another scope variant is thermal, I know what you are thinking already. No it’s not you can see through walls and/or it creates a solid white/grey screen. It does this.

Yes i’m still alive and kicking, just not in Garry’s Mod. I don’t see any reason to keep my Garry’s Mod installed anymore so i’ll just dampen down any possible rumors of anyone claiming i’ve got another community in the works.

I have been able to reflect upon the time that I had spent roleplaying in Garry’s Mod and I have to say by far it was possibly the biggest waste of my time. Aside from my time at Aftermath RP I mostly just was only there purely for the people. After so long I have realized that the people who play at these communities are doing the same, which is dumb. I don’t need crowds of people who can’t make up their minds for themselves, if I want that I can go to a mental clinic.

I’ve branched back into the Darkest Hour / Red Orchestra realism scene with some old buddies of mine and so far it’s going well. Not many people to play in other Units but overall it’s kept me entertained, that’s all I need. I can rest my head at night without having to wonder if I am gonna wake up to a message box filled with PMs relating to bullshit I don’t care for. (IE: TnBers still SFing me about TRP or the CCA. I don’t give a fuck, i’ve retired my wings a long time ago.)

I have recently gotten into an addiction with Men Of War, Left 4 Dead 2, Modern Warfare 2 (360 Edition), Grand Theft Auto IV (PC Edition), and CoD5 (not until last night though). I can’t help but revisit these games and enjoy myself more then I did when I first played them. I missed certain things the first time around that I am beginning to admire. I guess with all the free time I have I been able to enjoy things more, heh.

Though that free time may finally come to an end with the possibility I may be getting my old job back. That’d always be good to do, money in my pockets is always a plus. I may not spend as much time online but I get to spend more time amongst people, instead in front of a computer screen. Only time will tell with this opportunity.

Rex Lee – Traveling Dimensions
So I got an idea the other day. Would it not make sense that Rex Lee could travel dimensions
between the Half-Life 2 dimension, and the Terminator dimension. I know, you are probably
thinking “What the flying fuck?” but no read on. I think it would make sense that if the
Vortigaunts could generate enough Vort-Essence that they could send someone, for example
Rex Lee to a different dimension. They can bring back dead people, teleport, and shoot
lighting.

I would say this is indefinitely plausible, although you may not agree. If Vortigaunts
could do all this, why could they not send a person from said Half-Life 2 dimension, to said
Terminator Dimension. Not only would this make for great role-play, but it would open
possibly a whole new idea for role-play in general. I mean can you imagine having a
character in Half-Life 2 role-play sent to Terminator role-play or vice-verse it would be pretty
amazing for character development among making a whole new thing of role-play in general.
you guys should defiantly give this a try. If you dont like this idea, please give me some feed back as to why you would not like it, please also try to keep the thread civil and on topic.

I cannot fathom why this is needed, next thing you know he’ll be transporting reprogrammed drones to kill cops and shit. I’m thanking God I left that mess and the idiots are being left with this, it shows the hypocrisy of the place with each passing day. Apparently Dave doesn’t understand the practice of common sense when it comes to roleplay. He has to have all of his characters be the most important bad asses that tower over the rest of us mere mortals. His ego has risen since two years ago when I first met him, I guess being turned into a pin cushion by interest groups (all the skiddies and shit) do that people. Honestly I don’t understand how he earns the thousands he’s earned with his stubbornness and complete lack of ethics.

I’m not gonna comment the troll level on the new fad that is the ReiSama video incident being leaked from Dave’s email. People will probably just still continue on with it but to be honest it’s a waste of breath to even try and make anyone feel ashamed or disgraced. The duo are still acting as they always are without repent so we can see they don’t care for their secrets coming out for all to see. I personally have nothing against people whom do the things that Rei does as it’s not my business. But when you attack people for being immoral and disgraceful and do something that a majority of people see as immoral and disgraceful it’s blatant hypocrisy.

I am also gonna post my resignation that I tried to post for people whom I knew at TRP. It got deleted by Playerzo due to ‘WHO FUCKING CARES ITS SIF’, this is coming from another flip flopper. Right.

I have for a couple of months now been with this TRP ‘experiment’ now as an admin and I am uncertain exactly of what has been accomplished. I look around to everyone who has left due to the feeling that this place has become a cesspit in terms of quality of roleplay and the degradation of quality of our work. A few people will try to discredit what I am saying now but I do not care for they know that it is true. Unless you are a fool or are blind you can see that the server is a laughing stock and is always going to be the bastard child of TnB RP. People will say here and there aswell that TRP was created not for serious RP but for ‘fun’, it’s not fun anymore.

I am done lying to myself and the public as to why this server is not seeing me anymore. I am done choking on the lies of this servers inability to get anything seriously done. No amount of actual work has been done to renovate the image and seriousness of this server that can bring it back. I do not care to try anymore to simply waste my time on an issue that people as a majority are just tired of dealing with. I am done cleaning the blood from my knuckles and my back from the fruitless efforts that I try and correct. I guess now I should outline some of the problems for people as to what made this resignation possible.

[*] The incompetence of Rei Sama and Dave’s unwillingness to remove them from admin. I say that they are incompetent due to the fact that they’ve pulled a complete three sixty in terms of how they operate as an admin and has become what they worked so hard to remove. Asterisk V2 basically.

[*] The lackluster ability of the server to be able to balance in terms of roleplay quality and ‘fun’. People these days consider me elitist because of the low standards I enforced but their just idiots. If you feel the standards I enforced were elitist than you’ve never worked a job before that mattered anything. I asked very little of people and still I get the same bullshit.

[*] TechCom Leadership is a joke and always will be as a majority of them cannot comprehend that when you leave and you don’t help out at all you don’t keep a commission. It’s also a joke because it seems you cannot keep your hands off of squads when you’re not above and beyond the authority of the squad leaders.

[*] I have heard enough jokes and little one liners about TRP in the span of this month to fill a whole website. 99% of them are true nowadays as the quality of roleplay and admin support is lackluster at best.[/list]

So, ill ask that my tags are removed and that the decision I made for Alpha kept intact. Keeping my last decisions I make for Alpha from being honored is a dishonorable practice which I hope you will not do.

People these days have been pressing me to tie myself down to their communities with lucrative offers and false promises. I have in the past been offered money, power, and all the shit that is included with sucking dick. But I don’t see any reason that I would join any community that isn’t run by a friend as I feel like enjoying the environment and not just staying around to compete for peoples attention. People accuse me day after day of being loyal to TnB but their just trolling themselves more then me. As when I left to help create Out Of The Ashes with Argus and Acidic that was the day I left TnB for good. I do not play on the servers for any admin or to further the roleplay. I stuck around due to friends and wanting to enjoy myself, after some time and many episodes of everyone’s soap opera I found that I don’t need to stick around the place to keep my friends.

So i’m taking a stand with my good friend Wolly at Epsilon and i’m gonnna do whatever he requires of me as I am not some cock-sucking maggots who’s just gonna tag along for the ride. I’m tired of watching all these followers who do nothing but talk a big game but deliver on nothing. I am hopeful that the community will prosper and we can do something aside from just be another flea sucking the lifeblood of Garry’s Mod RP.

I also wish to comment on something that made me laugh that I saw on RickDs blog. I’m not even much of a coder but i’m able to see that this is either a massive troll on his part (Conna) or he’s just figuring everyone to be dumb. That’s taken directly from Cake Script G2, and it’s a rather bad look with the pink.

I wasn’t using Dave as a shield, I was pointing out a fact that I was told by you. I will continue to remind the Roleplay Department Admins on TnB that they are indeed hollow in the terms of resisting Daves will. I was idly working about in Source SDK today and I was bored as hell. Was just fucking around with settings and something kept nagging me in the back of my head. I was peering at the STALKER models that I added recently and I couldn’t help but want to make a server for it. My mind traveled to the possibilities of it for a while and I can’t help but think of how easy it could be to have it get done. I’ve got a script, I have a lot of models, I have the drive to want to do it.. But I don’t got shit for money, shit sucks for me I guess. Though the idea was pretty basic and I am pretty certain finding either a map or a series of maps to use wouldn’t be terribly hard either.

These days I am learning more of what to do with Source SDK and I can’t help but appreciate the things people have done for me in it more and more. I have at one time attempted to take a dabble into mapping but that was increasingly something I lost interest in. That also was something I could learn to appreciate more and more, I know mapping isn’t just something that any monkey can be good at. There’s a lot of things that can go wrong and you’re unable to find out without thorough testing and alot of patience.

Though that’s when I arrive at coding, i’m not exactly a foreigner in this realm but i’m not a coder in any sense. Looking at LUA all the time I can take an educated guess at the problems of scripts that have a crap load of errors. Funny thing is when most people ask how I know this shit I just reply “Common sense.”. Which is true, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand coding which I will try to learn however possible. Thing is I am out of luck when it comes to finding any sort of documentation for LUA. Hopefully I will prevail and start to learn for myself, that’s a goal for myself.

Well I guess I should also move onto a topic that dominates most blogs out there for Garry’s Mod. Drama, there’s a shit load of it out there in all forms. Ranging from skiddies, to people actively D(D)osing each other, people paying someone to steal scripts, or these sad folk that just leak scripts and leave communities. I can’t help but get a little annoyed at hearing these tales. Especially the one of HGN apparently paying Stan to take down Paradox RPs STALKER server and steal their script. This is beyond pathetic it’s absolutely childish of them, I have had my sour days with some of the members of that community but that doesn’t excuse that sort of behavior. The community is a neutral party in the global stage of this dramafest but you decided to attack it anyways. I say shame on you for your actions, you attacked a community that didn’t deserve to have what it had done to it for your own greedy natures. You claim to be against people who steal scripts in the past but it doesn’t seem so when you’re not the ones being attacked. Live up to some standards delete the script and apologize to Paradox RP.

Decided to just stop wasting peoples money and my time to shelve this community for a little bit. Uncertain if I want to continue but to be honest I have all the reasons to do so. A lot has happened these past few months that have pushed me into the direction of doing so. Ranging from mostly all sorts of crap like false friendships, childish people, self righteous pricks, and people whom are just downright assholes. I can’t help but find myself stuck in the middle of these places, it’s as if I am a fiend begging for a syringe.

I don’t feel helpless as most people do that are stuck in these situations just utterly confused as to why I am stuck there. I guess I bring it on myself when some of the people I consort with are just unable to see their own reflections in the mirror. Unable to see the errors of their ways, unable to see past their pride. People these days can’t just stop and think about what they are doing.  They don’t care about the people whom they inconvenience, they just want to laugh for once in their lives I guess. It’s not something to be angry about though at first I can be angered by it. When I think about those situations fully I don’t feel angry, I feel sorry for the people whom do all these attacks on each other.

They know what they are doing and it doesn’t stop them. People wonder why that people act like this and I can’t help but think of the quote in the last Batman. I don’t think it’s in this extreme form but close to it, some people just act like they could care less about what people say of them. It’s pathetic moreso then being sad as the person can’t stop themselves from it. They are a fiend for attention, they need their next dose of it or else they’ll not be able to sleep almost. So next time a server goes down from an attack we all know someone will have a rubber tube around their arm. I should take this time to comment on some of these attacks specifically.

Firstly I guess I should talk about all these fights between some TnB and ReichRP people that take it out on FacePunch all the time.  Both sides look like idiots because not one person on FacePunch gives a flying shit, but it continues anyways. Reich RP wants to say that they are greatest community out there with their “custom” script. It’s not custom at all, it’s basically TacoScript 2 with first and second generation TacoScript 1 code filling in gaps. Or the beef of Reich RP releasing what they thought was their map, City Eleven. It’s an old leak that they added upon and did indeed work on But.. It wasn’t their map, it was Serman and Gerrrs map, those two are the rightful owners of the map as they put in all the work related to it.

Now to be fair I shall go and critique TnB, this shouldn’t be too hard. A lot of the admins, developers, and members of the community seem to just beef with Reich RP whenever the two are near each other. Some members of the community decide to just go on their servers and disrupt roleplay, undermine admins or whatnot. These are rumors, but we all know rumors originate from an ounce of truth sometimes. Or whenever a Reich RP advertisement is posted on FacePunch it seems a TnB member is not far behind looking for something to say that is negative. It’s not really a sin but it’s childish and unprofessional, only makes you look stupid by doing so. The attitudes of the members of TnB is also rather sad as well, especially when someone goes claims that the community is the best place to roleplay. It’s not, it’s just a large community with a lot of players to interact with. There are place with roleplay a million times better, I can easily get examples of these communities.

The last bits of my random post I guess will be on my endeavors with attempting to learn how to rig player models again. It’s a bit of a challenge when you haven’t done one for quite some time. Most of the attempts are basic ones that I wanted to see get done, and some are I am hoping gonna look good. Here’s some pictures.

WIP Dynamic Factions page, it’s not yet toggleable but the code is there. This will be a system around allowing players the freedom to create their own factions without too much admin hassle. Though of course they’ll still get the same attention as any other faction.

Here’s our admin panel, a neat little command added to centralize all the commands in a simplified Derma panel. Was written by Robo and then touched up by Argus and Prometheus I think.

As you can see with everything i’ve highlighted I can highlight a singular player and/or admin and make it easier for admins to crack down on name glitchers and/or people with redicolous SF/IC names that make it impossible to use regular commands on them.

Here’s a classic all the way from Out Of The Ashes, simple command that was worked up on. Allows admins to play music that is on the server to all players. Allows for a deeper immersion in their environment, also allows for simplified things like weather, etc.

Well, that’s all i’ve got for tonight. I want to go ahead and run down something real quick, to everyone whom looks at the script and just goes ‘lolCakescript’ will be plainly wrong. The internals have been gutted out and redone, the HUD and some other systems are left, yes. But the idea and theory of which Cake Script was revised around is gone, this uses a different saving/loading system which I can let Prometheus explain as he’s the bastard who did all the coding (along with Milk).

This summer is gonna be nuts, from the fake sympathy stories for Michael Jackson, to the usual rounds of ‘internet politics’. It’s getting ugly and if it was a woman I don’t think there’s enough money in the world to offer me to fuck it. I’m hoping i’m going to mellow out sometime soon, I need a job someday.

But yeah, it seems that the usual politcs and cutthroat maneuvers that have been practiced for ages are still in practice. Flip-floppers, two faces, and nitpickers is all I see these days in the ‘everlasting’ realm of Garry’s Mod Role Play. I find my self wanting to just disappear as usual but I have a promise to uphold. This community will be up and running soon enough. I am hopeful the people that said they’d support this community will uphold their promises as well.

Progress on the script is getting there, i’ll take some time later to post some screenshots for people if they want to see them. The content pack itself will be fixed up and duct taped together whenever it is deemed important, so far i’ve got the basis of it figured out but factions are what’s driving a nail through my foot. I’ve gotta get them fully figured out, so far it seems i’ll be choosing two polar opposites as the two primary factions. Which is good I hope because it’ll help create a realistic wedge to have, but all the player made factions will be the ones whom will possibly help shape the storyline and progress of the server the most if we can all get it done right.

With that being said I guess it’s time to get on to the topic of storylines, I haven’t read that many these days in Garry’s Mod Role Play communities that have really moved me. And the ones that I do read aren’t really carried out as they were supposed to, which is what kills my drive to help communities. But alas, I am stuck with the environment I am in so I might as well just get used to it a little.
